Celebrate the Miracles of Recovery

Wedgewood Banquet Center
In 1972, Dean Duncan took 12 intoxicated men in a U-Haul, to the Old Desert Inn on Whites Bridge Ave. in Fresno, CA. With the help of some businessmen, they established a program, that was then known as Comprehensive Alcohol Programs, or “CAP Recovery Home”. In the nearly 50 years since that day, CAP has diligently worked to improve the lives of individuals affected by drugs and alcohol.
The Miracles of Recovery (MOR) Dinner is a celebration of Dean Duncan’s legacy and a testimony to the power of recovery. The funds raised at this event help continue Dean’s legacy of helping men and women in the Central Valley who are in need of services that range from detox, to in-patient rehabilitation and/or transitional living.
The numerous men and women that have passed through the gates since those 12 men, have suffered from alcoholism and/or chemical addiction with no place to go. It’s CAP’s mission to inspire, transform and rebuild lives, one at time. With your help, we can continue that mission.
There will be food. There will be auctions. There will be fun! Please join us on April 11, 2019 for an evening of inspiration as we celebrate the Miracles of Recovery!
